Reinventing a derelict space
Lake Street Dive - Bristol
Had a lovely weekend in Bristol visiting my eldest daughter's new house and on the Saturday evening catching one of our favourite bands, Lake Street Dive, gigging at SWX Bristol.
I lost a clogball
My favourite camera bags are made by Billingham who I think started out a long time ago making fishing gear but now have a great range of bags for photographers. I've got a Hadley Pro and a 225 (I think it's called).

I heard today that one of my videos may be used as a trailer on the Keep it Country TV channel.
Cornwall
We visited Falmouth for the Oyster Festival. The hotel we stayed at was so nice I put together a very quick video of it

Godiva Festival 2016 - Coventry
Once again this year I attended Coventry's annual 3 day free music festival featuring this year, amongst other bands, The Boomtown Rats, The Charlatans and Scouting for Girls.
Palmer Sport
Was very pleased and excitedto be invited down to Palmer Sport for an exhausting day of driving 8 different types of cars, from a Land Rover on a 4x4 course at scary angles to a Formula 3000, full on single seater race car.
Coventry Motofest
Just enjoyed a great two days at the third annual Coventry Motofest, a free motoring event that gets bigger every year, based in the centre of Coventry
The Subs
Local Coventry professional covers band, The Subterraneans, is one of my favourite bands to photograph.
City Arts and Music Festival
This weekend an arts and music festival has been organised in the ruins of the old Coventry Cathedral which was bombed in the war and sits right next to the new Coventry Cathedral.
Brighton
We popped down to Brighton last week for a couple of days to see a band, Lake Street Dive, who were playing at the Komedia on Monday night.
World Endurance Cars
I spent a great day at Silverstone Racing Circuit last Sunday. It was the first round in the 2016 World Endurance Cars series. The 6 hour race saw over 30 cars on track split into four different classes, so effectively four races in one.
Coventry Telegraph

The writer, Pete Clemons, put a story together about Cliff Hands who has recently launched a new album. Pete asked me to take a photo of Cliff when he appeared with Kristy Gallacher, to use in the article. I happened to have a pocket camera with me so was very happy to oblige!
