This weekend an arts and music festival has been organised in the ruins of the old Coventry Cathedral which was bombed in the war and sits right next to the new Coventry Cathedral.
Last night two stages were set up and 10 acts alternated between them all evening.
Highlights were definitely the Mustard & Blood band made up of 17 very talented local musicians who came on and off the stage in different combinations for each number and then the headliners, Charles Dexter Ward & The Imagineers, a great rock band with a big following in the city.
I managed to get in front of the stage for both of those acts to take some photos for them.
I am finding myself preferring fast prime lenses lately rather than zooms, particularly at gigs in low light, and managed to quite slickly change lens while surrounded by the crowd using 15mm, 20mm, 50mm and 85mm. Kept the front and rear lens caps off them in my bag so it was quite easy to swop and change.
