I first heard of Skinny Molly when watching a Youtube video from a photographer I follow for his camera reviews.

The main guy in the band Mike Estes used to play in Lynyrd Skynyrd a name which will be well known to persons like me of a certain age.

So when I saw that they were playing in Leicester as part of a European tour I went along to see them with a friend.

The band were very tight which is expected for a lineup that always seems to be on the road together. Although the main man had a few issues with either a lead or his guitar amp it was a great night and they went down a storm with the crowd that had turned out to see them
