Once again this year I attended Coventry's annual 3 day free music festival featuring this year, amongst other bands, The Boomtown Rats, The Charlatans and Scouting for Girls.

As well as the main stage there is a large tent named the Rock Tent or the Rhythm tent on different days across the weekend.

Appearing on the Saturday in the tent was a new band called General Chaos, described on their Facebook page as a Ska Punk Rock Band.

They have recently recorded their first album using the skills of legendary local grammy award winning, music producer, Roger Lomas. They asked me to video the six songs in their live set to help them promote their CD which I was more than happy to do.

Once my video duties were fulfilled I mentioned to wander around and capture some stills of some of the other bands on over the weekend

One of the American bands apparently saw my photos of them and described them as 'dope' and advised that I have 'skillz'! I am reliably informed that this means they were impressed! Perhaps they could fly me over to take a few more for them!
