January is not my favourite month although it does include my birthday which helps a little I guess.

However I have managed to get out and about and take a few photos. This time of year I like to visit the Transport Museum at Coventry. This place is great, some parts seem constant like the reminder of the blitz which devastated Coventry in the war, but other parts of the museum are constantly changing so there is always something new to see.

Staying with a motoring theme a visit to the British Transport Museum at Gaydon was well worth the time spent. I went just less than 12 months ago so my ticket was still valid which was a bonus.

Walking the dog is a great excuse to visit a few of the old local favourites including Kenilworth Castle and Coombe Abbey
