I use Lightroom a lot on the PC for editing photos and currently have version 5.7 installed.
I have seen references to the Dehaze tool which is in version 6 of Lightroom and also watched a YouTube video yesterday about creating panoramas in Lightroom which I subsequently found is also only in version 6.
So feeling a bit left out I have started a trial version of Lightroom CC which gives you Photoshop and Lightroom for less than £9 per month. I reckon I will probably get more use out of it than I do from my Spotify subscription which costs £10 per month!
With one day's playing with it, Dehaze seems to give great results on certain types of photo, irrespective of whether they contain any haze!
I have just googled Dehaze and found this page which gives an interesting insight into what it does.
Here are some before and afters of using the Dehaze tool (there wasn't any haze on the photos!).
They are a little extreme to show the effect.
Apparently it also gets rid of window reflections so I need to try that out.
I think I will definitely be taking up my subscription when the trial period is ended.
